Projet expérimental d'un jeune caennais de 17 ans oscillant entre ses différentes influences musicales, se perdant entre la rugosité du death indus et de la noise, les nappes enveloppantes et lourdes du dark ambiant, les ambiances lugubres et horrifiques du black metal ainsi que des relents de Post-Rock, Charlize Zodiac revendique l'influence de Mz. 412, Burzum, Brighter Death Now, Morgenstern et godspeed you black emperor.
Inspirée par la folie, le spleen, les relations humaines faussées, piochant dans un foutoir culturel à la croisée d'Antonin Artaud, de David Lynch, Wagner ou Wim Wenders, la musique de Zodiac dégage une atmosphère malsaine, dérangée et à la fois sensible et à fleur de peau.
À écouter un soir de spleen, posé dans un fauteuil, dans une pièce délabrée et froide, et dans le noir, de préférence.
